Hello Everyone!

It's been a really busy month for me! I've been working on adding new pages to the website, and while you can't see some of them now you will be able to soon! It's been a lot of work!

I'm still working on the makeup reviews and getting that section done, at the same time I'm also creating a "List of Essential Oils and their Benefits" section - I'm adding 51 essential oils to the list - and will probably add more after I'm done with the 'basic' 'most popular' ones (There are 350 different essential oils available on the market).

Essential oils are awesome, so many uses from something so small and simple.

Today I am going to tell you about a few that I've used to create a stretch mark oil that is actually diminishing my stretch marks - not just fading them, but my skin is getting thicker and starting to regrow - it's awesome!

What do I use in this oil?

  • Sweet Almond Oil - you always need a carrier oil and this is my favorite so far because it's light weight and smells nice.
  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Rosehip Seed Oil
  • Patchouli Oil
  • Daucus Carota (Carrot Seed) Oil

These oils have a lot more benefits than what I am going to list, because the e-mail would end up being ten pages long! So I'm going to describe what benefits I am using them for in the stretch mark oil.

Tea tree oil helps to kill bacteria, promotes cell regrowth, protects from free-radicals, and as a bonus it works as a natural insecticide.

Rosehip Seed Oil is incredibly moisturizing and is one of the only essential oils that you can apply directly to your skin without a carrier oil. It helps to reduce scarring, even out skin tone. It has a high amount of fatty acids which promote healing of the skin and prevents keloid scarring.

Patchouli Oil helps to tone the skin and muscles, it also allows nutrients to be absorbed quickly and easily into the skin. It also has Cytophylactic which means it helps promote the growth of new skin cells and red blood cells - meaning your skin actually starts to grow back and look younger.

Carrot Seed Oil helps to tone up the skin and prevent / treat loose skin (aka the Mother's Apron), like the patchouli oil it too has cytophylactic properties to help regenerate cell growth. As an added bonus some studies have shown it to be anti-carcinogenic meaning it can help to prevent certain types of cancer.

On the side I also use emu oil, which is a highly moisturizing oil and can be applied directly to the skin (it is not an essential oil). It is easily absorbed and contains high amounts of fatty acids.

For members only you can purchase the oil in the 'Members Section' for $15

    What you've had to say

    Write Your Own Reviews

    Everybody has an opinion when it comes to skin care and cosmetic products that they've used. I am working on integrating sections into the website where you can write your own experience. Currently there are two sections that you can tell your story;

Under the Testimonials section, this is strictly for you to write on, I want you to tell the world if you liked or hated our products and why. It's very simple to do, all you need is a first name, your experience (and an e-mail address if you'd like a response). Type your story, hit submit and within a few hours it will be live for everyone to see! You can also rate other people's experiences on a 5 star scale, if you agree, give them 5 stars, if not you don't have to leave any or you can make it lower.

Another area where you can write is the Makeup Review Section, have a great experience with a certain makeup company? How about a horrible one? As girls we love talking about makeup, so here's your license to do so! Have fun with it and share with others!

I love hearing what you have to say, so please feel free to write in and share your comments, suggestions, or questions!
