Clogged Pores and How To Avoid Them

Using Natural Skincare

Clogged pores are caused by a number of factors.  It is not just what you put on your skin but also what you are eating, how you take care of your skin and the environment you live or work in.

Here you can learn how to minimize and / or avoid them by using the right products on your skin.

A good place to start is the choice of what you use.  Some skin care choices greatly increase your chance of problems so it is good to start by choosing wisely.

You may even be surprised by how many suitable choices you already have in your kitchen cupboard!

It makes sense that something that is edible and good for you could also be good for natural skincare.

Just keep in mind that pure and cold pressed are your better choices.

HERE IS A LIST OF SOME NON-CLOGGING AND PORE-CLOGGING OILS:

You may find that you have some of these in your cupboards at home already but had never thought of them as skincare products!

I love it when I can use ingredients for both cooking and my skin. It saves money buying twice, it saves time shopping for different things, and I don't have to store multiple products.

WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Choose the most pure you can afford.
Check the list of oils that has the least probability of causing you a problem.
Think about what you already have or use in the kitchen.
Consider how much you are likely to use as cold, pressed oils are best fresh and used up quickly once opened.
I also think about what gifts I will be making and try to choose something I can use for that as well.
As you can see with the selection of oils below, they are a very affordable moisturizer, especially as you don't need much each time.

I know people swear by it, but it's doing the opposite of what you'd think (and it comes from PETROLEUM!!!!)

Baby oil is made from mineral oil.

Not a great way to start off your baby's skin care routine!
