Black Pepper Essential Oil

Health Benefits

The health benefits of Black Pepper Essential Oil never cease to amaze me. Something as simple as black pepper can have so many health benefits.

I first started looking at this particular oil because I had read reports stating that it helped to reduce cellulite, and let's be honest - we all want to reduce our cellulite.

It's lumpy, bumpy, and can ruin that bikini wearing for anyone!

Recipe for Cellulite Reduction!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Juniper should be avoided if you are pregnant.

  • 5 drops in 1 ounce of Carrier Oil such as Sweet Almond Oil
  • 5 drops of Juniper Berry Essential Oil
  • 5 drops of Black Pepper Essential Oil

  • Rub into the affected area.

    To my surprise it actually started to work in just 4 days.

    I was curious as to why it worked...

    What Did I Find?

    For external use it is as simple as adding a few drops to a carrier oil, then rubbing it onto the affected area.

  • It's a diuretic - releases all of the excess fluid in the body, meaning it releases any bloating.
  • It improves circulation.
  • It's Diaphoretic which safely and gently cleanses the system of unwanted toxins (when ingested, add a few drops to your food).
  • It contains Vitamin's A and K which are great for the skin, helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and is good for acne prone skin.

    It made perfect sense to me after finding that information why it worked so well for cellulite treatment. But those weren't the only benefits that black pepper essential oil had to offer ;

  • It soothes and relaxes muscles.
  • It's antibacterial.
  • It's warming effects helps those with arthritis.
  • It helps break fevers.
  • It is antispasmodic - meaning it can help sooth sprains, cramps, muscle pulls, and convulsions.
  • It gets rid of the bacteria in the intestines and stomach that produce uncomfortable gas.

    So as you can see this is a great staple item to have in your kitchen, dash a little on some food, or dilute it for skin care purposes.


    Special Note: I use Amazon online to purchase ready to go products so I can maintain my natural skin care regime at all times, e.g travelling, working long hours, unable to get to the store... It is a good alternative without compromising my ideals.
