    Himalayan Salt Bath

This is a new product that I have recently tried; Himalayan Bath Salt.

My mom ordered some, and I got a little extra for myself because I wanted to try it as well.

Everything I read about Himalayan Bath Salt told me that taking a bath in 1lb of this salt for a half hour would be the same as doing a 3 day fast.

So, naturally, I was curious; I decided to take a bath in 2 cups of the salt.

Where I bought the salt from grinds it very fine, so it was almost like a dust and it turned the water brown from being that way.

I soaked for 30 minutes, and got out, thinking that it had done nothing. Over the next half hour, I began to get very hot; I think I drank about 8 glasses of water because I was so thirsty, I also got incredibly hungry which was unusual for me, it was like I hadn’t had anything to eat for a day. Then I had indigestion for an entire day.

I finally realized it was probably caused by the homemade bath salts in the water!

I felt great the day after that, and I’m pretty sure that the salt worked as described.

Himalayan salt contains 84 minerals including calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.

These minerals are all essential for good health and very beneficial to cleansing your body.

If you take a bath in 1 pound of this salt for 30 minutes, it is equivalent to doing a 3 day fast! It also soothes muscles, relieves arthritis, eases stress and promotes emotional well being and helps with the relieving of acne.
Special Note: I use Amazon online to purchase ready to go products so I can maintain my natural skin care regime at all times, e.g travelling, working long hours, unable to get to the store... It is a good alternative without compromising my ideals.

    Chronic Respiratory Illness

Asthma, sinusitis and bronchitis can be treated with brine inhalation therapy.

  • Heat a pot and add a minimum of 0.7 of salt with the boiling water.
  • Cover your head with a towel and breathe in the brine steam.
  • Do this for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • The pollutants will be coughed out in about 30 minutes from inhaling the brine solution.

    Cleaning Your Teeth

Diluted Himalayan red salt is great for brushing your teeth with!

All of the essential minerals and nutrients in it, creates a healthy environment for strong teeth.

Used as a mouthwash it also gets rid of bad breath and bleeding gums!

More ways Himalayan Red Salt is beneficial.
